1/29: Free Seminar “Investing During Uncertain Times” (RSVP Required)

Black United Fund of Oregon and Unitus Community Credit Union are sponsoring a free seminar called “Investing During Uncertain Times.”

Description: Find out how to best invest in a bad economy. Some helpful tips will include how time is your friend, how to make the best use of the fact that everything is on sale and how to do valuations.

When: Thursday, January 29, 2009, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A free lunch will be served at 11:45 for seminar participants. 

Where: NE Police Precinct (Community Room), 449 NE Emerson Street, Portland, OR 97211.

Oregon Zoo: $4 admission on the second Tuesday of each month

Portland Children's Museum: Free admission on the first Friday of each month from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm

World Forestry Center: $3 admission on the first Wednesday of each month

Oregon Maritime Museum: Free admission for families with children younger than 14 on the third Saturday of every month.

Washington County Museum:
Family Day is held on the second Saturday of each month, September through June, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, free admission.
