  • 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade: This year’s parade features the first public appearance of the full 2009 Rose Court Princesses and over 40 other groups.   • Focus the Nation’s Town Hall on the Clean Energy Future: More than 180 Congressional Districts across the country will hold town halls to help educate people on clean energy issues. In Portland, the town hall will take place at Portland State University, Hoffman Hall (1833 SW 11th Ave), 6:00 pm–9:00 pm. Congressman Earl Bluemanuer, Rep. Jules Bailey, Rep.   • Rally to Support Oregon Historical Society Research Library: On March 13, the last day of work for the staff of the Oregon Historical Society Research Library, the Northwest History Network invites the public to join them in showing their support for the staff and holdings of this superb Oregon institution.
