The One Motorcycle Show: Looks to be an amazing exhibit of custom motorcycles and helmets. Live music, too. 420 NE 9th Ave, Portland.
Friday, February 8
Cascade Festival of African Films: The festival runs now through March 2. All films are free. See the event website for schedule information.
“Portlandia” and More: Mission Theater will host two screenings of “Portlandia” (7:00 pm and 10:00 pm), plus music, bits and gags from Reeltime Live before, between and following. Live music by Halfwhit Adlib.
Author George Saunders will talk about his latest book, “Tenth of December,” at Powell’s City of Books on Burnside, 7:30 pm.
Saturday, February 9
Guided Nature Walk at Tryon Creek State Natural Area: This week’s theme is “Secrets of the Black-tailed Deer.” 11321 SW Terwilliger Blvd, Portland, 10:00 am.

Sunday, February 10
Oregon Zoo: To celebrate the Chinese “Year of the Snake,” the Oregon Zoo is offering free admission and up-close encounters with various snakes.
Chinese Lunar New Year Festival: Celebrate the beginning of the year of the snake with crafts and traditional food. Tigard Library, 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.
Portland Taiko: Enjoy a performance by this award-winning Asian American drumming ensemble. Beaverton City Library, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Lunar New Year Celebration: Celebrate the Lunar New Year traditions of China and Vietnam with a traditional lion dance, a musical performance, and crafts. Woodstock Library (6008 SE 49th Ave, Portland), 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
“The Walking Dead”: Anyone else excited that “The Walking Dead” is back? You can see it at St. Johns Theater & Pub (8203 N. Ivanhoe, Portland), 7:00 pm.
