Free Events Guide, Summer 2012

June 13th, 2012

Last updated July 25, 2012

Here it is: the summer’s free festivals, outdoor movies, concert series, and theatrical performances in and around Portland. More fun than you can possibly consume in a three-month period. Or can you?

Our weekend roundup posts will continue and will include additional events (like they normally do): library events, book readings, art shows, free museum days, and more.

Note: Admission is free for the following events, but you might be charged for activities or food and drink.

Important: Before you head out to an event, be sure to double-check the event’s website for the latest updates and cancellations.

P.S. If we missed anything, please write us a comment.

Best list I’ve found, but you’re missing Trek in the Park, which is nothing short of tragic since it’s our absolute favorite free summer activity in Portland. Info at – I think it’s August 4th-28th this year, Saturdays and Sundays.

Hi, Karyn, I was hoping to include Trek in the Park, but couldn’t find a date on their website. Will definitely promote it in the weekly posts when the time comes.
