Free Summer Fun 2011, and an announcement

Summer is the season of free. Use this guide to help you plan your next two months of free entertainment: movies, concerts, theatrical performances, festivals, and more. But first an announcement.

ANNOUNCEMENT

After much thought, I have decided to discontinue my weekly “free event” posts. I will continue to write about awesome deals and freebies in Portland, but I’ll do so in a less scheduled way for the near future.

On Twitter, I will be just as active as I have been @aroundthesun.

Thank you so much for reading, and may you enjoy every moment of summer!
