Friday, November 5
Davis Graveyard: Final night! 8703 SE 43rd Ave in Milwaukie.
Be Seen. Be Safe: Sponsored by TriMet, this bike event features an evening bike ride, entertainment, free refreshments, bike safety checks, and more. 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Ursula Le Guin will talk about her book, “Out Here,” which features poems, drawings, and photographs of the Steens Mountain range. Powell’s City of Books on Burnside, 7:30 pm.
Free night at the Children’s Museum: Admission is free from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
First Friday Art Walk: Go gallery hopping on the East side. And check out PORT’s First Friday picks.
More art: The Architectural Heritage Center, Land, Milepost 5, and galleries in Sellwood will also host openings.

NW Film & Video Festival Free Events: Free events include a filmakers barcamp and an opportunity to sample a few of the films not selected for the festival this year.
Coffee Brewing Class: On the first Saturday of each month, learn how using the right techniques and tools will allow you to bring that coffee shop quality home. Public Domain, 11:00 am.
“Star Wars Year by Year”: Gus Lopez, creator of the Star Wars Collectors Archive, will talk about this book, which pulls together four decades of information about the films, comic books, novels, merchandise, and computer games. Powell’s Books at Cedar Hills Crossing, 4:00 pm.
Museums on Us: Bank of America customers can enjoy free admission to the Pittock Mansion and the Portland Art Museum.
Sunday, November 7

Siren Nation Free Workshops: The Northwest’s most talented women in the arts will discuss their roles as leaders in media, radio, film, and music, as well as practical issues such as how to attract a gallery’s attention. McMenamins Kennedy School, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Salmon Festival: This events offers children’s activities and an opportunity to learn about the salmon spawning in Multnomah Creek. Multnomah Falls, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
