Friday, July 2
30 Hour Day: Watch part of this 30-hour charity event live at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Musical performances, comedy, interviews, and more. 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, and 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on Saturday. (The other 10+ hours will be broadcast online.)
Outdoor movies: “Kung Fu Panda” will be playing at Multnomah Arts Center. “Extraordinary Measures” will be playing at Esther Short Park.
Free night at the Children’s Museum: Admission is free from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
First Friday Art Walk: Go gallery hopping on the East side.
More art: The bSide6 Building and galleries in Sellwood will also host openings.
Camas First Friday: Classic and specialty cars will line 4th Avenue and beyond in historic Downtown Camas. 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
First Friday in Milwaukie: Live music, art exhibits and demonstrations, and more. 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Oregon City First Friday Art Walk: Downtown Oregon City, 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Shakespeare in the Park: The Portland Actors Ensemble will perform “Pericles, Prince of Tyre” on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through mid-July. Tonight, they will perform at 7:30 pm at Mt. Tabor Park.
Outdoor concert: Jacob Merlin Band will perform at Tualatin Commons at 6:30 pm.
Saturday, July 3

Water ski/wake board competition: Water ski competition starts at 10:00 am. Wake board competition starts at 1:00 pm. The day ends with the Portland Ski Spectacular at 7:00 pm. Lakewood Bay.
Outdoor movie: “Astro Boy” will be playing at Tualatin Commons.
Bank of America customers can get into the Portland Art Museum and Pittock Mansion free.
Sunday, July 4
Lake Oswego Centennial Star Spangled Celebration & Parade: Events include a parade down A Avenue at 1:00 pm, followed by a festival at Millennium Plaza Park until 5:00 pm. Fireworks start after sunset at Lake Grove Swim Park.
Tigard 4th of July Celebration: Live music and family activities start at 6:00 pm. Fireworks at dusk. Tigard High School Soccer Field.
Happy Valley 4th of July Family Festival: The event includes a guided hike at 9:30 am, parade at noon, fireworks at dusk, and a festival all day long. Happy Valley Park.
Bank of America customers can get into the Portland Art Museum and Pittock Mansion free.
Outdoor concert: Whiskey Flats will perform at Tryon Creek Park at 2:00 pm.
