• Arts Festival in the Forest: This two-day festival features visual and performing arts. Browse the creative works of professional artists and view a variety of entertaining performers, including the acrobatic AWOL tree dancers. Mary S. Young Park in West Linn, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. • Free Admission and Activities at Fort Vancouver: On Saturday at 6:00 pm, bring a picnic to the parade ground (1501 E. Evergreen Blvd) and watch a vintage baseball game played by 1860s rules. Visit the reconstructed stockade (1001 E. Fifth St) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Watch a cannon firing demonstration featuring the park’s reproduction mountain howitzer at 1:30 pm on the east end of the parade ground. • Vintage Carnival: The carnival features midway games and prizes, a vintage car show, music and dancing, antique appraisals, and a complimentary picnic lunch and country lemonade. Courtyard Plaza and Senior Living Campus (6323 SE Division St), 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

• Saturday Guided Nature Walks at Tryon Creek State Park: Join a park ranger for a free, guided nature hike to explore the forest and stream ecosystems and natural history at Tryon Creek State Natural Area.
