Free Summer Fun: Outdoor Concerts in Portland

Summer in Portland is truly paradise for the frugal music lover. From July through August, the warm air over many outdoor venues will carry the sweet sounds of free concerts.
Here are links to the free summer concert series that I’m aware of. I’m sure there are more. If you have any to add, please write a comment.
Portland Parks: Assorted days in July and August.
Tryon Creek State Park: Sunday afternoons in July and August.
Noon Tunes in Pioneer Courthouse Square: Tuesdays and Thursdays in July and August.
Music on Main Street Sponsored by Portland Center for the Performing Arts: Wednesday evenings in July and August. Concerts take place on SW Main Street between SW Broadway and SW Park in downtown Portland.
Pickin’ on Sundays at Doug Fir: Every Sunday in July and August from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the patio.
Crown Park in Camas: Wednesday evenings in July and August.
Happy Valley City Park: Thursday evenings in July and August.
Lake Oswego Parks: Assorted days in July and August.
Carnegie Center in Oregon City: Thursday evenings in July and August.
Stella Olsen Park in Sherwood: Wednesday evenings in July.
Tualatin Hills Park District: Assorted days in July and August.
Concerts at Tualatin Commons: Friday evenings in July and August.
Vancouver Parks: Assorted days in July and August.
West Linn: Thursday evenings in July and August.
Bridgeport Village: Thursday evenings in July and August.
Bethany Village Summer Concert Series: July 10, July 24 and August 9.
Concerts in Ardenwald Park, Milwaukie: Thursday evenings in August.
I’m most excited to see The Dimes at Pioneer Courthouse Square (their concert last summer was a blast), and I’d also love to hear All Girl Summer Fun Band play “Jason Lee” on Main Street. Who are you planning to see?

Free Concert in Couch Park August 7th 5:00-7:00 p.m. featuring The Stolen Sweets. OPUS NW is providing a free barbecue and collecting new and gently used books as part of the Bridgetown Book Drive.

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let ya’ll know that the Boom Boom Satellites are coming to Portland on Oct.31!!!
They are going to perform @ Music Millennium, 3pm and @ Peter’s Room later that day and it is going to be AMAZING!
I saw them perform in New York last week and they were AWSOME!
So if you want to have a super night, go and check them out!!
