Free Film Series Starting in Portland

On the last Wednesday of each month from September through May, St. Johns Cinema and Pub will be hosting Portland Community Cinema, a series of movies and panel discussions on a variety of social issues.
Sponsored by Independent Lens, Oregon Public Broadcasting, ITVS, and Global Sistergoods, Portland Community Cinema events are free and open to ages 21 and older.
The series kicks off with Please Vote for Me on September 26 at 8:00 pm.
Other films include Miss Navajo, Mapping Stem Cell Research, An Unreasonable Man and more.
